Photograms are made by placing objects onto a surface of a light-sensitive material, such as photographic paper, and then exposing it to light. This process was very handy to learn as it is very easy to do and can create quite an affected image.
Image 1 – Flowers and sticks
Image 2 – Wine bottle and cup
Image 3 & 4 – My hair
Image 5 – Sticks and my hair
Image 6 – Lightbulbs and a plastic bottle
This process creates a negative shadow that varies in tone depending on the transparency of the objects used. I really like the outcome of my photograms, especially Image 1 and 5 as the arrangement works really well.
