Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces cyan-blue print and allows easy layering of images. This process has helped my research for my project as it easy a very easy way of layering imagery. I will possibly use this process for the connecting photography and/or exposure units.
I chose to use some images from my environment project ‘Into the Woods’ for this workshop as I have not taken my finalised photographs for this unit yet. I believe it will give me the best idea of how my work could possibly look as for this project I will be continuing the Into the Woods photo series.
I found the cyanotypes allowed me to get a good idea of what my images would look like overlapping on top of one another and a look into what they could possibly look like. This process worked really well with my images and I will definitely be using it in the future.
